NSW:Sydney in full swing for New Year's

New Year fever is in full swing in Sydney .. after thousands jostled for the best vantage
points around the harbour ahead of the "biggest party on Earth".

Security staff around the Opera House say crowd numbers are unprecedented and were
forced to turn new arrivals away from three this afternoon .. more than an hour earlier
than last year.

Bars .. pubs and clubs also say they've sold out thanks to today's balmy weather.
