The city Building Department on Wednesday put the squeeze on Club XXXotica, the proposed juice bar featuring nude women on Central Avenue.
Inspectors who reviewed the building on Monday said that they found a series of safety code violations. They also determined that the club is not permitted in a "commercial neighborhood" zone, according to a report released Wednesday.
Building Commissioner Michael Haydock said the report was forward to state Supreme Court Justice Edward Spain, who is considering a request from the club's owner to allow the business to open. The Building Department padlocked the club's …
