IRENE TERKO, 89.(CAPITAL REGION)

COLONIE Irene Terko, 89, of the Albany County Nursing Home died Sunday at the home.

Mrs. Terko was born in Albany. She lived in the Albany and Niverville areas all of her life.

She was a homemaker, and had retired as a clerk from the State Insurance Fund in Albany, where she worked for many years.

Following retirement, she worked for several years part-time as the social director for the Barnwell Nursing Home in Valatie.

Mrs. Terko was a former longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Valatie. …
