SA: Man shot in buttocks

ADELAIDE, Feb 15 AAP - Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot in the
buttocks in Adelaide's western suburbs today.

A police spokesman said a 27-year-old man was in a satisfactory condition in the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital after he was shot in the rump, possibly with a .22 calibre rifle, in Hendon
about 2.30pm.

The injuries were not life threatening, the spokesman said.

Police had cordoned off the area and were conducting a search for the offender.
